ESTUDIOS22

Estudios was created by Erin Pouba and I (Emma Hughes). During the beginning of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in March and April, Erin and I were stuck in our homes with only school to keep us busy. We were both doing fully online school along with the entire world but we wanted to do more so we started making clothes and designing more to pass the time. We made many items, I focused on more summer flowy inspired looks while trying to create good quality pieces that can be worn by anyone and last a long time. Erin focused on creating slightly more street style pieces that are convertible to create multiple looks with one piece.

Over the summer from May to August we filmed and created a fashion show with all of our pieces. This took finding models and photographers to help us out. While working 240 miles apart and in a pandemic, we came through some road bumps as we had originally wanted to do a full in-person fashion show but did not want to risk the pandemic. As the end result, we made a fully online fashion show and website for people to access from anywhere.
